Tottenham fans have turned on Harry Kane.

Calls for Kane’s transfer are getting louder and louder. But it’s not Bayern Munich. They want to sell to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

“Tottenham fans are urging the club to sell Kane to PSG after the French club expressed interest in signing him,” The Sun reported on Sunday.

Kane’s contract with Tottenham ends next June. Despite the transfer speculation, he has joined Tottenham’s preseason tour of Australia.

Tottenham manager Enze Postecoglou said on Sunday, a day before their first pre-season game against West Ham: “There are many people who know Kane better than I do, but he will not be fazed by anything. He is here, and while he is here, he is totally committed to what we are doing. If other clubs want to talk about the players we have signed, that’s a bigger problem for them than it is for us.”

However, Kane’s transfer rumors are not going away anytime soon. Italian transfer market pundit Gianluca Di Marzio played a new trump card on Sunday when he suggested that PSG could hijack the market.

In exchange for Kane, PSG could offer cash and 20-year-old ‘wonderkid’ Xavi Simons in a ‘swap deal’. Simons is the future of Dutch soccer. A former PSG youth product, he made his professional debut with PSG but only made nine appearances in two seasons.

Simmons moved to PSV Eindhoven last season. His potential exploded at PSV. He scored 22 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions, including 19 in the Eredivisie.

Then PSG exercised their buy-back option in the summer transfer window and snatched him up. Simmons, who has represented the Netherlands at every age group level, has also made five appearances for the A team despite his young age.

Kane celebrates his 30th birthday on the 28th. No business ahead of him. Tottenham fans are of the opinion that they should sell Kane to PSG if they can get Simmons for the future of the club.

‘£100m and Simmons is very attractive’, ‘I think I speak for all Spurs fans when I say make it happen’, ‘I support this deal. It may or may not work out, but a decent amount of money plus Simmons is a great deal”.

Bayern Munich, on the other hand, are still convinced of keeping Kane. Bayern Munich made an initial offer of €70 million for Kane. After Tottenham rejected it, they made a second offer of €80 million with options.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy did not react to the second offer. But on this day, Kane’s price tag finally emerged. Levy is willing to sell Kane for a transfer fee of €116 million. It remains to be seen if Bayern Munich will respond.파워볼
